I've been in a bit of a slump recently and just havent felt like reading.
Here's a few of the titles in my "to be read next" pile (a subsection of my tbr pile...LOL)
Dying in Style by Elaine Viets:
this is the start of a new series. "In DYING IN STYLE, you’ll meet Josie Marcus, who has the job most women would kill for: “mystery shopper.” Josie is paid to go undercover into boutiques, supermarkets, and even fast-food joints to report on quality, cleanliness and service. But this devoted single mother finds herself in hot water when she’s sent to check on Danessa Celedine’s high-end boutique and the owner is strangled with one of her own thousand-dollar red snakeskin belts. Suddenly, Josie finds herself caught in a real murder mystery as the prime suspect. In order to save herself and her daughter Josie must nab the killer before she winds up bagged herself. " from Elaine Viets' website.
Talking About Sex by Vicki Lewis Thompson
No Strings Attached by Millie Criswell
The Highest Bidder by Roxanne St. Claire : the October edition of the Silhouette Desire Dynasty: The Ashtons
Almost Perfect by Julie Ortolon : havent read anything by her yet but it looks like a good story and its a plus that its the beginning of a trilogy.
I've been reading With Red Hands by Stephen Woodworth for the past week during breaks at work. I actually started it a few months ago but put it down to read other stuff. So now i can say that i'm almost done with it, only about 20 more pages to go.
Guess it kind of helped that i noticed a third book in the Violet series was coming out soon.
Through Violet Eyes is the first. With Red Hands is the second. In Golden Blood is the third.
You'll have to let me know if VLT's Talking About Sex isn any good. I usually love her stuff!
ReplyDeleteHow are you liking Julie Ortolon? I am a fan.
